kernel is vanilla, no patches
cvs compiles without warning nor any errors
modprobing orinoco_cs works
card ist regognised
all iwconfig-comands work, except 'channel'

iwconfog <device> channel <number> produces the following error:
Error for wireless request "Set Frequency" (8B04) :
SET failed on device <device> ; Device or resource busy.

this error can be ignored if one does not want to use the monitor-mode as the card will connect to the AP even without the channel.

the catch with this error imho is that monitor-mode may now (finally .) ) be implemented, but at this point it is useless as scaning does nit work, due to the fact that setting the channel is not possible.
