Currently we pass these off to mhshow which does an adequate job on them. However, mhshow by default isn't as seamless about showing text messages as plain old show.

Perhaps there's nothing to do here; perhaps we want to actually support reflowing text; perhaps we can tweak the default mhshow configuration to be a bit less intrusive. See URL above for longer discussion.
