Web Secretary could monitor different than web pages type of resource, like .txt, .pdf, .zip, .exe and similar text or binary files, which conatin some information.
Becouse this files have different format, I suggest Web Secretary could have module-based structure. So websec will be core of system that include the right module depending on type of file to monitor.
When the type of file is web page, the right module will be webdiff or HTML::Diff of course.
But if type of file to monitor don't suit existing module, websec should use general module designed specifically for compare some general information of file, like timestamp or size.
At present I'm interested in use Web Secretary to monitor .pdf, therefore I'd like to use this general module, becouse I think .pdf is to much complicated format to provide the right module.
But module-based structure that I suggest is flexible on account of future developing Web Secretary. For example, .txt file will be one of the easier format to provide module for this.
