This is a common problem of a misconfiguration of the binary options on a file. Unless the submitter can demonstrate an actual bug in the program, I am closing this item. Further discussion to determine whether it is or is not an actual bug should take place on the bug-cvs list.

When checking out code a ^M character is being added to each line, tried checking out onto unix box, removing ^M characters, checking back in and then checking out again, the ^M characters re-appear
