Hi!

My LyX file doesn't use an absolute or relative bibtex database filename. It
uses the filename without the .bib ending and relies on the tex-system to find
it. I have used the BIBINPUTS env. var. to add a directory of bibtex database
files to the search path:

$ echo $BIBINPUTS
.:/mn/anatu/cma-u3/tmac/research/citations//

$ kpsepath bib
.:/mn/anatu/cma-u3/tmac/research/citations//

$ ls /mn/anatu/cma-u3/tmac/research/citations/
citations_myself.bib

My LyX file refers to "citations_myself" and compiles fine due to the above
settings. However, eLyxer returns:

$ elyxer --unicode --nofooter --splitpart 1 website.lyx page.html
Line 103: Title: Website of Torquil Macdonald Sørensen
Line 370: * Error reading citations_myself.bib; make sure the file exists and can be read.
Line 370: Parsed citations_myself.bib: 0 entries added, 0 entries ignored

Is this way of bibtex database specification incompatible with eLyxer? If so it
is unfortunate, because it is a very neat way of getting documents that are
independent of directory layouts and parent directory of the LyX document itself.

Best regards
Torquil Sørensen
