At the moment, while cursor up/down moves the selection inside the table in the time row, pressing cursor left/right unexpectedly scrolls the table instead of moving the cursor.

I think it would be more intuitive if cursor left/right would also move the selection. For scrolling the table, shift+cursor left/right could be used (though IMHO scrolling so little pixels at a time doesn´t make much sense and ctrl+cursor left/right already exists to scroll).
