I altered the 'onum' and 'pnum' tables so they should now be correct.  In SVN.

Yes, this is a foul-up on my part.  I'll fix it right away.

(It looks like I implemented pnum and onum separately, and only partly integrated the two tables...)

Current implementation of onum substitutes fit.0…fit.9 by old.0…old.9. This substitution can’t take place. fit.0…fit.9 are proportional numerals which get substituted for zero…nine by the pnum feature which has its place in the font after the onum feature (the order of appearance of the features is important!). To fix this either place onum after pnum (which I don’t recommend, because one would need to enable both features to get onum applied) or use zero one … nine as base glyphs for onum.

Again, I’m not testing but looking at the FreeSerif.sfd file with Fontforge.
