Tue 03 Dec 2013 09:58:38 AM UTC, comment #1: man just uses "groff -mandoc -Thtml" to do the rendering, and I can see the same problem if I run the page through that directly. Could you please report this to the groff project instead, attaching the source file (probably /usr/share/man/man1/gcc.1.gz or similar) so that they can easily reproduce this? (I'm sorry that I have to mark the bug as "Invalid" here; the Savannah bug tracker does not allow me to reassign a bug to a different project, which is what I really want to do.)
