Picking filters are working (since quite some time) now.

The difference between 'single' and 'closest' filter is:
in 'single' mode, every incremental pick operation will add (when using the SHIFT modifier) a single item to the list of picked items, while with the 'closest' filter, only one item will be retained in the list (the closest to the camera).

Since 4922585 picking filters work in point picking mode.

The picking filters ('single', 'closest', 'connected') do not work in GL2. This is because they were implemented in GL1 using a pick buffer. Pick buffers are no longer supported in GL2, so we will have to devise some other way of making these selections.

I think 'connected' should be possible to do. For 'single' and 'closest' (I do not remember the difference) we will have to compute the distance to the camera, or use the z-depth after performing projection.
