Benoit send me a patch that work very well, now i'm able to download the file using IE.

The patch are the third in this posts:

http://mail.gnu.org/archive/html/phpgroupware-users/2003-12/msg00051.html

the patch are for .16 version, but the third (the only one used) apply cleanly also in my .14 setup and works very well.

Ops, apache was dead, boh, i don't know why... at least now work, so, please, try again...

There's no problem for me to wait the .16 release...

Unfortunately the server appears to be down :(

I will try to look into this more - I have done some work on the download code in 16 - but it is too major a change to just be a bug fix release :(

I'm using PHPGroupWare via ssl, and i'm experimented some trouble using it with MS IE browser.

Seems a known problem with IE and SSL, see:

https://www.redhat.com/support/resources/faqs/stronghold3/browser_faq.html#securemsie

you can experiment with the bug triyng to download the file at link in bottom page of:

http://www.ac.concordia-pordenone.it/index.php?page_name=Biennale2

note that is a browser problem (with mozilla work very well!), and seems this is only a problem with some content, you can see:

http://www.ac.concordia-pordenone.it/index.php?page_name=Vince

that use again a file uploaded to PHPWebHosting, but within an IMG tag and not a A tag.

This is not a sitemgr problem, you can enter PHPGroupWare with the right link on top menu, go to PHPWebHosting and see the same problem.

Many thanks.
