The developpement of Texi2HTML as a separate project ended in 2010 and shifted to GNU Texinfo, although there was no release of GNU Texinfo with makeinfo based on Texi2HTML, because the implementation based on Texi2HTML was abandoned in favor of the current program in GNU Texinfo, see:
https://www.nongnu.org/texi2html/

It is therefore recommended to use texi2any from GNU Texinfo instead of texi2html.

If autoreconf still work, though, this is good, but if something else is needed, the first thing to do would be to find new maintainers, as there are none for now.

I am trying to build Texi2HTML on riscv64 architecture. 
But got a build error, configure: error: cannot guess build type; you must specify one. 
It was caused by outdated config.guess and config.sub file in the latest release. 
We can use autoreconf for now, but it should be updated.
