Pango does not report a similar behaviour:

Nov 07 22:27:02 <spiralvoice> pango: do you also see this behaviour: https://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/index.php?17219 ?
Nov 07 22:46:07 <pango> never get high dl rate anyway, I have a slow link ;)
Nov 07 22:53:03 <pango> but no, I don't remember noticing any long term trend

I also never saw such a thing and you are the first one reporting this.

When mldonkey runs for more than 30-40 days there is a problem with trasnsfer. It's very slow, les than 7 kB/s. When I restart core transfer returns to norma values - about 20-100 kB/s.
CPU and memory usage is at normal level (CPU - abouyt 10-45%, mem - about 40-65%).
I'm using only BT and Donkey networks.
