With 2.5.27 the bug is still present, a coulple of completed files were committed only after i've raised the value of the delay.

Please check if this bug still is in current CVS version.
You should find a tarball of current CVS in files section of
this project: http://savannah.nongnu.org/download/mldonkey/

Here is a workaround if anyone needs it:

Copy the file with the corrosponding hash from temp folder.
Check it with www.slavasoft.com/fsum/ or similar if you want.
Rename to whatever it's meant to be,  test.zip test.avi
Run it to make sure it's ok.

of course this doesn't solve the problem, just gets you the file. Best is to update the core.

... and it doesnt happen allways here, just sometimes.
file goes to 100%, all chunks state 3, 0b left, but not listed as "completed and needs commit", thus not auto-commited.

but some files do auto-commit as usual.

cant point out a rule of which files have the problem yet.

BT does have the same problem, even with md4 delay >=10

happens here as well with:
 - 2.5-21 (cvs selfcompiled --enable-bitch on linux)
 - "Dont use threads" in configure output (!)
 - compute_md4_delay was at 10 (!)
 - i did NOT observe this with -18 (!)
 - only tested for ed2k/overnet files

mlnet is compiled with pthread support.
Since 2.5.18, files are not commited when using compute_md4_delay=0. .
When I say 'not commited' I mean the files stay in the list of download with percent=100%.
Using an external md4sum tool I can check the associated temp file has the correct md4sum.
Using compute_md4_delay=1. files get commited.
I think It should be easy to reproduce:
(i haven't tested with a non pthread mlnet)
 set compute_md4_delay 0.
 search -maxsize 2000 cue
use the web interface to sort the results so that you can download files having the most complete sources.
and tell me if you're able to reproduce it :)
