Example of code trigerring the bug: 

y x == (1+x)^x/x
interpolate(x,[1,2,3],[1/y(i) for i in 1..3])$PINTERP(x,FRAC POLY INT)

Note that the failure only happens when issueing interpolate, but in this case, also thereafter, i.e., if you ask for y(2) afterwards!
