Well, I'm not a fanatic of such drawings, for fundamental reasons, so it is not a high priority for me, but if somebody else volunteers, why not?

1. Open gchemtable
2. Click on Carbon (or any other element)
3. Select the "Main" tab

It would be useful if below "Electronic configuration" there was a drawing of the atom with its electronic configuration; nothing fancy, just a central blob and a bunch of concentric circles with dots on them.

Even more useful would be an indication of how the electronic configuration notation maps onto the drawing (if feasible); that way, the user may be able to figure out how to read electronic configuration without having to look it up.
