When an float group exists dumping the desktop becomes impossible:
Error In Command 'dump-desktop': There is no applicable method for the generic function
#<STANDARD-GENERIC-FUNCTION STUMPWM::TILE-GROUP-FRAME-TREE (1)>
when called with arguments
(#<STUMPWM::FLOAT-GROUP {BE4AB11}>).
Of cause dumping float groups is of limited use but:
1. it shouldn't prevent dumping the desktop at all
2. it would be nice to preserve the empty floating group so one
would have it at hand after restoring.
