Example of code trigerring the bug:

?::Symbol::SAOS

Internal cause:

Thu 23 Sep 2004 04:20:20 PM UTC, original submission:

In the interpreter
?::Symbol::SAOS produces a bind stack overflow

x::Symbol::SAOS works, using

Function Selection for map by coercion facility (map)
      Arguments: ((POLY INT -> INT),UP(x,POLY INT))
      Target type: UP(x,INT)

probably ? is somehow a bad symbol.

However, I also think that we should rethink having a coercion from SAOS to Symbol and from Symbol to SAOS.
