Sorry for the delay. I've been busy with other projects. Tested connecting to a TLSv1 enabled server using SOCKS5. Seems to be working well. I will test HTTP later today and report if there are any problems.

Nice work guys! Enjoying the client more and more with every release. :)

By the way, now it's possible to use more than one proxy (and choose proxy for each IRC server).

Is it specific to devel version ? or do you have same problem with version 0.2.6 ?

It appears to be sending a fixed invalid header no matter what the proxy type.

Output from ngrep (attempting to use a proxy to connect to a SSL/TLS server):

T 127.0.0.1:34211 -> 127.0.0.1:9999 [AP]
  15 03 03 00 02 01 00  .......
