Those symbolic links don't exist in our current kernel.

@larsnooden
Are those symlinks are still made?

Could you update the bug?

Thanks

My comments here relate to a different issue which is detailed in bug #31562 which is now solved.

I have also tried and failed to install 2.6.32.4-libre-lemote when running 2.6.32.3-libre-lemote.

The error reported is the same as shown in previous comments.

Could it be that 2.6.32.6-libre-lemote broke something so that any subsequent kernel installs will fail?

Hmm, it seems that there is an issue with installing older kernel versions also. I just tried to install 2.6.32.5-libre-lemote and got the same type of failure.

I am running 2.6.32.6-libre-lemote.

This also happens with the .7 and .8 versions.

I am running 2.6.32.6-libre-lemote but cannot get the three newer versions from the repository.

There are two dead-end symbolic links in the kernel image for 2.6.32.9:

/lib/modules/2.6.32.9-libre-lemote/source
/lib/modules/2.6.32.9-libre-lemote/build
