Tue 08 Jan 2008 05:48:40 PM UTC, comment #4: Nothing planned. You can copy one molecule to a new file and save it. I don't know any software able to save only part of the current document. Of course it is possible to add a "Save selection" menu item. |

Tue 08 Jan 2008 03:23:30 PM UTC, comment #3: Fair enough. Is there any planned feature to export a selection? I.e. do I have to create a new file for each molecule? |

Tue 08 Jan 2008 08:02:53 AM UTC, comment #2: The correct way is, of course, to export directly to laztex or plain tex, not xymtex or any other high level macros package. |

Mon 07 Jan 2008 07:26:15 AM UTC, comment #1: It is probably not impossible to export to xymtex, but really not easy. It would need an extensive analysis of the chemical frameworks. GChemPaint only knows atoms and bonds, while xymtext uses macros as Ypyranose. May be with another package.

Is it possible in some future version to export to a format that is directly includable in a latex file? The exact package used is not vital, but xymtex seems fairly complete. Failing that, is there some other way of easily including gchempaint formulae in latex documents? |
