Missile silos are very powerful. That's what they are for. The first one who can spend enough resources and time on it, deserves to win.

For multiplayer games, we could add a mechanism to allow players to ban some weapons. But that is another topic. A patch for it would be welcome.

I know a trick with nuclear silos that gives me more firepower, so I am extremely deadly with them. Nuclear silos may be about right on some maps (based on the second part of your comment, I can tell that you don't play on very high-resource maps) but not on high-resource maps that give you enough resources to build massive armies and massive numbers of silos. We really do need an option to disable nukes so games don't become all-out nuclear warfare. Maybe we could have a dialog that allows us to select which units to disable. Cannons can be too powerful on some maps, too.

I have found the nukes to be just right. Yes the obliterate what they hit, but their range of destruction is limited to a single building or perhaps a building and an adjacent power plant, etc.. Further, the nukes are limited greatly by the time required for them to regenerate to firing capacity again. I always wanted the stronger and able to reload quicker, but I was playing across the lan with other humans.

The tank vehicle is the one that needs to be toned down a bit. One tank can just mow through your entire camp and wipe all your buildings and assault troops off the face of the map in less than 30 seconds. I was thinking that extending time between tank shots and increasing their vulnerability to assault unit fire and turrets would really help there.

I second this. When playing a network game with human players an agreement can be met to not use Nuke Silos, but an option to disable the silos in a match could be good.

Are you finding nuclear silos too powerful in a network game against human players, or against the computer?

If it's the latter, we should just teach the AI to build those silos and aim the missiles effectively.

Nuclear silos are way too powerful.

The enemy is invading with their massive army of artils and tanks...NUKE!  They were totally crushed.

I'll sit tight behind my defenses and nuke the enemy's base.  HEHE!

I propose having an option to disable silos placed near the fog of war and reveal map.  Nuking will be less of a problem with open formations, but it will still be devastating on packed bases.
