GDB from release 2.1.1 was able to succesfully load and simulate a file with text from 0x8000 through 0xC000 or so, past EEPROM. The GDB from release 2.2 gives the following error when 'load pf11.elf' is attempted:
Loading section .page0, size 0x26 lma 0x0
Loading section .text, size 0x2708 lma 0x8000
Loading section .rodata, size 0x2034 lma 0xa708
EEprom write error (only 1 byte can be programmed)
sim_halt - bad long jump
Typing 'sim cpu-config 0x0C' makes no difference (i.e., trying to turn of
EEPROM).
The 'pf11.elf' file is attached. It was compiled with release 2.2 of the tools on a Linux system (tools compiled from sources).
