Did you already see my patch on this? http://savannah.nongnu.org/support/?func=detailitem&item_id=103491

I am willing to continue updating it. It works fine for me and at least for one other person I know of! ;-)

Integrating a different error code instead of 5.7.1 should be easily possible and could be realized the same way my patch works.

I'd be pleased to hear from you...

best regards,

When the milter rejects a message it send the response code 5.7.1 with the string "Blocked by SpamAssassin". Our organization needs to include a phone number to call and a URL to follow for our clients who are trying to get genuine messages through. (This happens about once a month, and we want our filtering to be strict.)

Also, code 5.7.1 appears to mean "not authorized", and we think 5.7.0 "policy violation" might be more appropriate.

We'll probably put in a site-local patch for this, but we'd like it if it were in the distribution.

Thanks.

(FWIW we're running FreeBSD 6.0-RELEASE-p6)
