Thanks for the report. It has been fixed in both the master and 2.x branches of the git repo. It will show up in 2.1.

In the current version 2.0 Fastcgipp::Fcgistream::Encoder::m_state is unitialized. Before sending any type of response, users need to make a call to e.g. out << encoding(NONE). Otherwise the switch in lines 109--117 fails and std::map<charT, std::basic_string<charT> >* characters is a null pointer which subsequently produces a crash (e.g. when trying to run the Echo example).

I am on OSX 10.7.3 with the latest XCode version and my guess is that other compilers default-initialize m_state to 0.
