Item posted by Sam Hart <criswell> on Mon 20 Aug 2001 05:51:54 PM UTC.
We are pleased to announce that Tux4Kids now has a project page on LinuxFund.org. Tux4Kids is dedicated to promoting and producing high quality educational Free-Software alternatives.
For those who may not know, LinuxFund.org is a development grant web-site for Open-Source and Free-Software projects. Persons browsing on their site can allocate "Penguin Pesos" (an imaginary monentary unit) towards projects featured on LinuxFund.org. Those projects who recieve enough "Penguin Pesos" will be given a funding grant (of up to $1000).
The Tux4Kids project page on LinuxFund.org can be found here:

Any funding Tux4Kids receives from LinuxFund.org will go towards development hardware as well as website maintenance costs.
