We are pleased to annouce the availability of AVRDUDE 4.2.0. This release fixes the long-standing Windows verify errors (timing related) as well as the inclusion of several new features including:
- new progress bar for programming status which looks better and is more
friendly to wrapper environments such as emacs
- ability to control the target voltage and oscillator of the STK500
- new -U option for performing mulitiple memory operations with one command
- support for modifying fuse bits with the AVR910 programmer
- support for "immediate mode" - a method of encoding file data in
the filename itself, useful for programming fuse bytes without having to
create single byte files
- support for several new programmers (picoweb and sp12)
Thanks to all who contributed!
