Quagga Released

Item posted by David Lamparter <equinox> on Mon Apr 15 10:46:05 2013.

Quagga has been released, and is available in the usual place. This is a stable release, addressing some small issues (no security impact) with 0.99.22.

Please click Read More below to read the list of changes.

The following issues have been fixed in this release:

  • major regressions:
    • ospfd: restore nexthop IP for p2p interfaces
  • minor fixes:
    • bgpd: fix lost passwords of grouped neighbors
    • lib/vty: register vtysh socket in server socket vector (BZ#754)
    • ospfd: fix LSA initialization for build without opaque LSA
    • ripd: correctly redistribute ifindex routes (BZ#664)
  • build issues:
    • build: fix minimal mixup in gitinfo suffix
    • build: reference libcap from libzebra (BZ#393,626)
    • build: update
    • doc: fix makeinfo errors and one warning
    • tests: make --disable-bgpd kill bgpd tests too
    • vtysh: fix false lib path matching in

The ospfd issue has a relatively strong impact, as in 0.99.22 all AS-External routes with a forwarding address are broken when used on pointopoint links. Users of ospfd are therefore strongly urged to update.

For details on 0.99.22 as well as the PGP key details, please refer to the 0.99.22 release announcement.
