xSGE modules split into individual packages

Item posted by Layla Marchant <onpon4> on Thu 30 Apr 2015 11:40:49 AM UTC.

This is a quite significant change. Previous xSGE releases were monolithic; to install xsge.gui, you had to also instal xsge.tmx, which was undesirable. This has now changed. Instead of one xsge package, xSGE is now distributed as several distinct packages: xsge_gui, xsge_lighting, xsge_path, xsge_physics, and xsge_tmx. A new release, 0.8, has been made for each of them. You can find the new xSGE distribution in the download page.

The new release of xsge_path has fixed a bug which caused objects to get stuck at intersections in some cases. Other than that, all of the new xSGE packages are identical to xSGE 0.7.
