GSequencer envelope feature

Item posted by Joël Krähemann <jkraehemann> on Fri 16 Jun 2017 07:53:58 AM UTC.

The AgsEnvelopeDialog and ags-envelope recall are ready to use, now. But for fixed length pattern notation there is still some work left to be done. I just developed the idea of providing a preset object to do this job.

Pattern box and cell pattern

It would be quiet nice to have envelope for this editing feature, too. So the AgsEnvelopeDialog has to be extended by one more tab. Allowing you to specify what pattern gets envelope information.

The ability to define presets for each pattern unit would be mandatory.

The default envelope

To set the default envelope is wished by me, too. This could be easily done by clicking a check button. Further it could be achieved by presets, as well.

Performance considerations

I am unsure if this advanced editing is going to have some performance penalties. But we will see.

Generic presets

The presets shall be able to provide to built-in effects appropriate adjustments.
