Public Objects 100908-0030 Released

Item posted by J. Scott Edwards <jsedwards> on Wed 08 Sep 2010 01:59:46 PM UTC.

I have uploaded a new set of public objects. This change was to add the CentOS (http://centos.org/) releases.

Right now most of the CentOS files ONLY have the MD5 checksums.  The 3.9 releases also have the SHA1, SHA256, and SHA512 checksums. I will add the others as time permits.

You can see them at:

http://www.worldwide-database.org/cgi-bin/list_files.cgi?time
http://www.worldwide-database.org/cgi-bin/list_files.cgi?md5
http://www.worldwide-database.org/cgi-bin/list_files.cgi?sha1
http://www.worldwide-database.org/cgi-bin/list_files.cgi?sha256
http://www.worldwide-database.org/cgi-bin/list_files.cgi?sha512

Now you can use the Objectify file-verify program to check the CentOS releases after you download them, for example:

file-verify --public CentOS-3.9-i386-binDVD.iso

Or you can list all of the MD5 checksums for CentOS:

file-list --md5 "CentOS*" "centos*"

or using the abbreviated name for file-list:

ofl --md5 "CentOS*" "centos*"
