I have just released gcjwebplugin 0.9.0. This is the final release of gcjwebplugin. gcjwebplugin will be merged into GNU classpath (1) CVS repository, and its development will continue there. This move is done to broaden the user base of gcjwebplugin, attract more developers to work on it and to ease the integration of gcjwebplugin into the free JDK implementations such as GCJ and
Kaffe. There are still some open issues we need to tackle soon like missing security manager support, missing support for verifying HTTPS connections.
This version of gcjwebplugin needs at least version 0.91 of GNU classpath or some VM including it. At this time, GNU Classpath version 0.91 has not been released, so please use a current CVS snapshot.

After a long time I got around to release a new version of gcjwebplugin with some important bug fixes to work with more applets. Among other things linkage of Glib, parsing of applet parameters and some segfaults got fixed. Have fun with this new version.
This release now startes the appletviewer process when it is actually needed. This means when it has to show an applet inside the web browser. Some other minor fixes are done too.
Today I released gcjwebplugin 0.2.3. It features fully localized user visible messages with a complete german translation and it creates a jar file to use a standalone applet viewer with other JVMs then GCJ.
After much development I released 0.2.2 now. This version has much improvements of the previous ones. Its the first one which has a very simple implementation of a SecurityManager and a specialized ClassLoader.
Today I released Version 0.0.2 of gcjwebplugin. This fixes code that got commited accidently to CVS, removed unused code and adds code for Netscape API.
Today I released Version 0.0.1 of gcjwebplugin. Currently its just a proof of concept and is hardly to use. It depends on current GCJ CVS trunk branch and patched Mozilla from current CVS. See install instructions in tarball.
