Automatic commit notifications back
Item posted by Sylvain Beucler <Beuc> on Sun 08 Aug 2004 08:17:23 PM UTC.
You can receive automatic notifications of commits on your CVS repository again, thanks to Jim, Paul, Ward and Elfyn.
As all 'CVSROOT' directories were reset after the crack, we do not know which projects had this option enabled, so we cannot automatically reactivate this feature.
We are working on a web interface to allow you to safely configure log_accum and commit_prep in your CVSROOT. Meanwhile, you can ask us to manually make the changes for you. Please post a support request at https://savannah.gnu.org/support/?group=administration providing the following information:
- project (system) name;
- email address to send commit logs to;
- possible email address to send diffs to, if needed (can be the same as above);
- optional regular expression to filter module name, so that only part of the repository is monitored
- optional module name to use in the notification instead of the automatically generated one (check log_accum documentation)
