PHP-gettext has moved to Launchpad.net: https://launchpad.net/php-gettext/
There was also 1.0.8 release, and I'll be going over all the submissions here and transferring what seems useful to Launchpad.
php-gettext 1.0.7 is out providing more goodness to emulation layer.
Instead of requiring you to use LANG environment variable, you should now use T_setlocale() to replace your setlocale() calls. For maximum portability, you should also replace all your gettext calls with the same calls prefixed with "T_": it won't sacrifice speed where GNU gettext is installed, but will make it work for you even if the locale is not present.
Also, some small bugs noticed by Jens A. Tkotz <jens AT peino PUNTO de> were fixed.

Time for a new php-gettext release!
This one includes a fix by Nico Kaiser (this time for plural forms handling), and a couple of simple anonymous fixes from Savannah bug tracker.
But the biggest news is that I finally integrated Steven Armstrong's complete standard gettext API emulation (the patch has been sitting on my system for almost two months! Sorry Steven for being so slow :(). Now you can use gettext functions simply by including newly provided "gettext.inc", and using all the standard stuff from http://www.php.net/gettext/.
The get best of PHP gettext love, grab it off from the usual location:

PHP gettext 1.0.4 and 1.0.5 were released fixing all important bugs in code (I was too quick in releasing 1.0.4, so I followed it up with 1.0.5).
The most important bugfix is handling of plural-forms header field with some unusual, yet valid PO files.

Nico Kaiser <nico siriux net> has done tremendous work in improving speed performance of PHP gettext, and his work is now available in the latest PHP gettext tarball:

If code is any more readable now, it's also thanks to Nico, so send him a cheer!
There're several other fixes (notably, PHP5 compatibility, due to a PHP5 bug), so start spreading the joy to the masses!
