One year later I created a mirror of GNU Bazaar repository on Launchpad, Savannah has Loggerhead active again, so now it is possible to browse the sources via http://bzr.savannah.gnu.org/lh/rebot/ thanks to mjflick.
Anyway I will keep the mirror on Launchpad, it doesn't hurt.
I have created a mirror of GNU Bazaar repository on Launchpad, it syncs with repository on Savannah automatically every few hours.
I have set up a page with links to browse the files and history of branches as Launchpad has loggerhead installed.
Summary of branches to browse.
After release 0.10 I switched from GNU Arch to GNU Bazaar as source control system. And now Savannah includes support for GNU Bazaar repositories so I have uploaded it.
At the moment there are three branches of development:
- main: bug fixes and minor improvements
- mud: adds new protocol module for connecting to MUDs as a client
- text-server: adds new protocol module that makes rebot a TCP/telnet/MUD server itself (by Sarganar)
To get a copy of each branch you can do:
bzr branch http://bzr.savannah.nongnu.org/r/rebot/main
bzr branch http://bzr.savannah.nongnu.org/r/rebot/mud
bzr branch http://bzr.savannah.nongnu.org/r/rebot/text-server
Or you can browse the sources and logs of changes:
http://bzr.savannah.gnu.org/lh/rebot
The repository is cryptographically signed, you can verify it with my public key, don't worry about a mismatch between key address and commiter address (it was masked to avoid spam), it's the same person: me! ;)
Finally, after some delays, a new major release of Rebot is ready, it includes all features you could find on GNU Arch repository:
- Jabber module
- MSN module by Sarganar
- Multiplayer module support
- Floyd/zx style multiplayer module
- DCC-CHAT functionality on IRC
- Transcript module
- A lot of bugfixes
- Some other minor improvements
A lot of changes have arisen since the last release: new communication modules have been developed (jabber, msn and transcript) and there are some improvements for existing IRC module like dcc-chat support. In addition, a new multiplayer infrastructure has been developed.
So, I have uploaded all development sources for these new features to the GNU Arch repository on this site (with individual feature in its branch) for testing. This code, eventually, will be merged in a new release soon (I hope).
You can access to the repository with "tla" tool:
tla register-archive http://arch.sv.gnu.org/archives/rebot/default
The archive is cryptographically signed with my public key.
A minor version that includes localization files for english and french (by Eric Forgeot) in addition to existing spanish. An irrelevant file included by mistake on the packages has been removed.
This 0.9 beta release has all text messages in separated files making it easy to translate to other langages.
The application launcher has been improved, now it is (virtually) totally portable.
You can find it in the download area. There are a lot of improvements and new functionality, specially in the IRC module.
New beta 0.7 version is available from download area. Some of the improvements are: simplification of the protocol module API and measures for preventing flood on IRC module.
First beta 0.6 version of rebot has been released, you can get it from the filelist download area. By now with basic functionality and maybe some bugs but totally usable.
