[field #11]      Original Submission: Hi,

MLDonkey server does not support normal address/mask format in allowed_ips. It s quite unfortunate that the allowed_ips variable doesn t accept the normal address/mask format, because that way there is no easy way to specify networks such as 213.202.64.0/18, let alone something larger.

Samuel.

New version, now old syntax, like 192.168.1.255, is updated.

Updated and fixed version based on:
ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/mldonkey/pango/improved_allowed_ips_v2.patch

Please test it. It does not convert old 192.168.1.255 syntax to new format.

Attached patch is a start of implementing this feature based on
ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/mldonkey/pango/improved_allowed_ips_v1.patch
updated to current CVS + some debug code.

This patch does currently not work as expected, use it only if
you want to improve it.
