As a programmer/analyst, successfully architected and implemented mission critical web applications. Designed and implemented an extranet service to allow company representative worldwide access to student enrollment information and various summary reports. Designed an intranet admissions system allowing corporate users and company centers nationwide access to detailed enrollment information and management reports.
Implemented an intranet function allowing centers to submit class list/enrollment data via web application. Worked with users and other programmers to design and implement a new admissions system.
To support all of the above projects at ELS, was in charge of full product cycle: collecting specifications, working with users, systems design, web application architecture and implementation, database design and implementation, testing and maintenance. Implementation tools used during these projects included: Paradox and dBase databases, MSSQL database, Oracle database (data and application conversion/porting from Paradox to MSSQL, and eventually to Oracle), ASP (Active Server Pages), Perl.
Also was responsible for all systems design and integration and oversaw 2-3 programmers.
