Resume

1995-2000: First steps as a programmer with Turbo Pascal 7.0.

since 1998: Adoption of C/C++ due to higher performance (at least from a game programmer's PoV).

1999-2005: Studies in Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics, requiring knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and LaTeX. Diploma thesis required skills in Java and C/RTAI, too.

since 2003: Switch to Gentoo Linux.

2005-2009: Scientific assistant, Automation and Control Engineering; As webmaster, one had to pick up HTML/XML knowledge and Linux/BASh skills were tested. Python came into focus...

since 2010: Forced to learn JavaScript due to Thunderbirds API; developer of the ThunderSync extension.

Python is the language of choice today (with PyQt4 being fielded for GUI purposes), therefore my Pascal/C/C++ might be a bit rusty...
