GMediaRender is a UPnP(TM) media renderer for POSIX(R)-compliant
systems, such as GNU/Linux(R) or UNIX(R). It implements the server
component that provides UPnP controllers a means to render media
content (audio, video and images) from a UPnP media server.

GMediaRender v0.0.6 released

This version now passes the UPnP A/V Renderer test suite of the Intel Device Validator for UPnP Technologies, and can be controlled with the Intel AV Media Controller.

IP address, UUID and friendly name can now be set at runtime.

Another minor update, switched to gstreamer-0.10 and libupnp-1.6.0

- Adds largefile support (for when libupnp is compiled with largefile support)
- Proper encoding of LastChange event in AVTransport service
- Configurable GSreamer audio and video sink from command-line

A first, preliminary, source code distribution has been made available.  Though a bit rough on the edges, audio and video rendering is functional.
