Notice I have made a number of improvements in the latest CVS versions after testing over RedHat releases (7.3 and 8) which might fix most of your problems.

Could you please say wether you have tested Tiger's latest
stable release (that is, 3.2) with RedHat Linux 7.3 and what
have been your results?

I have done some tests in a RH7.3 version myself and Tiger
works fine so if I don't hear from you I will close this bug.

The 2.2.4 version, even if stable, was not really that
portable. You should stick with the 3.x release if you are
using a "modern" OS.

If you want to use tiger-2.2.4 you need to modify the
TigerInstallDir definitions in the 'tiger', 'tigercron' and
'config' programs IIRC. (it should be modified to point to
wherever you have it installed).

The latest 3.1 release has autoconfiguration options that
allow you to have Tiger working more easily (since that Dir
is modified when configured to the place Tiger will be
installed).
