Asterisk side And
content of sip.conf,

Since from linphone we r calling as 5*@10.50.25.119(i.e.to * m/c).

  • m/c having exten => 5*,1,AgentCallbackLogin(|${CALLERIDNAME}@default); in extension.conf file.

Thanks
Can u send me the example of alsadev=<device>.
What will be the <device name> here, since we tried it with alsadev=default in the [sound] section of configuration file.
It didnot worked.
we have installed the alsa-(driver,lib,util,oss)-1.0.6.
As we have intel8x0 sound card with chipset of AD1980 on Dell pc.
Is it correct alsadev=intel8x0 ??.

We r using linphone-0.12.2. This version linphone is not taking avdio from the asterisk played(asterisk login message) sound on DELL pc having sound card chipset: Analog devices AD1980. I used the same linphone on IBM pc with sound chipset AD1981B, it works fine.
May I know what is the problem in the chipset setting on the Dell pc sound chipset AD1980??

A different alsa device can be configured in the [sound] section of the configuration file. Just add a line with alsadev=<device> to this section. Works at least since version 1.0.0.

Hi,

we like your linphone very much.

Is it possible for you to let the user configure a different alsa device for the ring sound in contrast to the alsa device for the speech connection?
Our idea here is to use the dmix plugin to here someone calling (here the ring sound and an mp3 file) and using a headset on a second channel of the soundcard to communicate.

(The user should be able to choose the device himself)

Btw. is there a c++ port of the linphonecore planned?

Thanks anyway

Best Regards
Lars
