I'm a bit delayed in answering this.

From Java, you can communicate with the simulation via sockets. This is really the only way that is currently supported/encouraged at the moment. TCL and Python simulation examples do exist, which basically load the simulavrxx shared library and invoke that code. If you can do that from Java, then you should be able to use the TCL GUI with a Java simulation (like the python code does)

I don't have plans to work on a Java example in the near future, though I'd be happy work with someone who is willing to try to write a java example.

Is it possible to Interface simulavr to java? I created a small spice like simulation program in java and want to add AVR devices for a co-simulation. How can the interface be done? Thanks for your help, Tobias
