gphpedit 0.9.98RC1-4 can't save over existing files on remote server mounted over sshfs. I tested this on a local network server and it works fine (100 Mbps connection), but doesn't work over the Internet. On the Internet connected server, I can "save as" a new file, but cannot save the existing file (even by trying to "save as" and selecting the existing file).
Note: I can save over an existing file using emacs and vi and I can append the existing file with ">>", but I cannot save it in gphpedit. gphpedit reports that the file has been saved, but it's not actually modified on the server.
