First of all, thanks for nmh 1.5! When AT&T recently changed its ISP support for email to require authentication while sending, I thought I might have to migrate from mh, but finding 1.5 I was able to compile it on all my machines.

However, I have several scripts that use mhmail to send me messages (cron jobs and when background processes encounter errors etc) and I found that I could not easily continue to use mhmail because it does not support the -user -port -sasl -saslmech options as send does. I was able to cobble together a shell script with send, but it would be much cleaner if mhmail had these options and I could use it again...
