I've been using sendmail 8.14.4, spamassassin 3.3.2 and spamass-milter 0.3.1 on Slackware 13.37.0 for a few years with no problem. I recently create a new Slackware64 14.1 host and installed sendmail 8.14.9, spamassassin 3.4.0 and spamass-milter 0.4.0. I am using the same local.cf from the older spamassassin 3.3.2 system.

On the new system I never get X-Spam-Reports or other X-Spam headers in my emails. For all emails I get the message shown in the Summary.

I removed spamassassin 3.4.0 and installed 3.3.2 and this works just fine with spamass-milter 0.4.0. I have to conclude that spamass-milter 0.4.0 and spamassassin 3.4.0 don't work well together. Below are /var/log/maillog entries for one email. Lots of "Milter delete: header" messages, no "Milter add: header" messages.
