This looks like a well known SharePoint bug. There is already an itme for this.
Please look there for details.

You will find there a patch for the Neon library provided by Arpad Magosanyi that works around this bug. davfs2 can't do this without shipping its own version of the Neon library. I will not do this.

Concerning RedHat: I assume that they use a patched version of Neon. Maybe you can get more information from RedHat and maybe you can install their version of Neon.

From what I learned here, not all SharePoint servers seem to show this bug. Maybe it is version or even configuration dependend. Please talk with the administrator of the server too.

P.S.: "I searched the web but it seems no one is having the same issue."
Is this support tracker not part of "the web"?

i fear this has something to do with "spaces" in directory or filenames being "unstable" resources..

I tried 1.5.0 and i have the same behaviour.
i cannot test < 1.5.0 because i should downgrade neon :-/

I've been using davfs (1.2.2) for long time on RHEL to mount MS Sharepoint resources.
Now I'm migrating to Ubuntu 16.04 with davfs version 1.5.4 and i'm facing a strange issue: some folders are not showing in the mountpoint.

Mountpoint in RHEL 5.7, davfs 1.2.2 shows:

#ls -1
Bozza Documenti
Documenti Ufficiali
Estratti Conto
Estratti Conto_2

Mountpoint in Ubuntu 16.04, davfs 1.5.4 shows:

# ls -1

Same resource mounted, same davfs2.conf options.
I looked at logs and no error is showing...
I searched the web but it seems no one is having the same issue.
