We do have such lists in Savannah administration area, but I think it wouldn't be trivial to correctly implement access restrictions (like comments in private items).

(Doing a general web search limited to Savannah turned up just one bug, but not the right one.  Most searches find that one.  Only if instead of "Gnome" I would have remembered the word "legacy", it finds the right one.)

The recipe from comment #0 no longer results in an error, because I filed a new bug for nano in which Koblinger's name occurs.  So now the search in Bugs for "koblinger" finds two occurrences, and it lists those two and does not try immediately to show bug #20184, which would still result in an error.

FWIW, doing a general web search limited to savannah might turn up some results, given knowledge of keywords, as in

 gnome color "egmont koblinger" site:savannah.gnu.org

Anyway ...

(Seems like there's nothing more to do here, though.)

Thanks.  Bug #56525 it was.

Perhaps bug #50773 or bug #56525; no, I don't think Savannah has such flexible display features.

To reproduce, type "koblinger" (without the quotes) in the Search field in lefthand bar, then select Bugs in the drop-down box, and click Search.  Result: "Error -- This project has turned off this bug tracker."

Judging from the title in the browser tab, it is trying to display an item from GNU Midnight Commander, but apparently that project has turned off the bug tracker.

So... maybe items that are no longer accessible should not appear in the search results?  Or... better would be if such items are still findable and also showable but blocked from commenting on?

What I'm actually trying to do is: find a bug report for GNU nano that Egmont Koblinger has commented on.  I know that he has made some comment on an item, and that probably the words "Gnome" and "color" occur in his comment, but I cannot figure out how the Display Criteria can be used to find the bug that has that comment.  When I go to Egmont's profile, I can see all open items that he submitted.  It would be nice if that profile page could be made to show all items that he commented on.
