Sorry for the late response.

The manpage says:

      -l logdir|@logserver
              (...)  If the directory begins with  a  @,  the  name will  be interpreted as a tiger logging server. (..)

If you review the code you will see that Tiger uses the sendtologger() function when you define a LOGDIR that contains a @ . The second part of the LOGDIR definition will be used to define the hostname where the logs are sent to:

You can read through the sendtologger() function in tiger to see the details of what Tiger actually does.

In the Tiger documentation it mentions that the log files can be sent to a log server using telnet on port 5353.  How do we set this up?  Can't seem to find anything in the documentation.
