spamass-milter detach and use all cpu (93% here) in a few minutes :

root 74781 93.1 0.3 20860 2588 ?? RL 7:39PM 0:03.38 /usr/local/sbin/spamass-milter -f -p /var/run/spamass-milter.sock

Using the same source/config on 6.2 work very well.

All these process mostly stay at :

(gdb) where
#0 0x281a1198 in pthread_sigmask () from /lib/libpthread.so.2
#1 0x281a1148 in sigprocmask () from /lib/libpthread.so.2
#2 0x281ab60c in pthread_mutexattr_init () from /lib/libpthread.so.2
#3 0x2819e2db in fork () from /lib/libpthread.so.2
#4 0x0804de64 in SpamAssassin::Connect (this=0x805ee80) at spamass-milter.cpp:1355

caught one staying at :

gdb) where
#0 0x281a85c1 in _pthread_mutex_trylock () from /lib/libpthread.so.2
#1 0x281aa5b4 in _pthread_mutex_lock () from /lib/libpthread.so.2
#2 0x281a0361 in _spinlock () from /lib/libpthread.so.2
#3 0x28215d3b in _UTF8_init () from /lib/libc.so.6
#4 0x282925e0 in _thread_autoinit_dummy_decl_stub () from /lib/libc.so.6
#5 0x080c0700 in ?? ()
#6 0x080b0880 in ?? ()
#7 0x282159a5 in _UTF8_init () from /lib/libc.so.6
...
#26 0x00000000 in ?? ()
#27 0x281b53f5 in __error () from /lib/libpthread.so.2
#28 0x281b5322 in __error () from /lib/libpthread.so.2
#29 0x281b53a6 in __error () from /lib/libpthread.so.2
#30 0x281ab586 in pthread_mutexattr_init () from /lib/libpthread.so.2
#31 0x2819e2db in fork () from /lib/libpthread.so.2
#32 0x0804de64 in SpamAssassin::Connect (this=0x80c0700) at spamass-milter.cpp:1355

6.2 static binaries running on 6.3 produce same results.

are the 6.3 FreeBSD pthreads broken ?
