Mon 11 May 2020 10:07:11 AM UTC, comment #1: Since the `@' symbol split up the URLs, preventing them from becoming clickable, here they are as clickable links:
https://mastodon.xyz/@reprofeed - reproducibility in the geospace sciences
https://fosstodon.org/@reproducible_builds - reproducibility in software distribution systems
The first is more directly related to Maneage; the second only indirectly.

Letting people interested in reproducibility know about what we're doing and what stage it has got to i useful to do every now and then. Apart from the mailing lists
https://savannah.nongnu.org/mail/?group=reproduce
there are the federated online social networks, including accounts such as
https://mastodon.xyz/@reprofeed
https://fosstodon.org/@reproducible_builds
and the tag #reproducibility - it seems that you need to log in to a Fediverse [1] server to see a list of tagged toots, or find a server that lists them publicly.
I'm listing this here, since there's no reason to keep our communication policy or channels secret. :)
Obviously, people on GAFAM/Twitter can use those networks too.

This is indeed a good idea, being active in social media is a great opportunity to reach out to larger communities.
I am now working on the paper (last week some issues came up and I couldn't work on it). We'll hopefully have it on arXiv soon and once its there, I think we can start such promotional activities.
Since you are more familiar with Mastadon, and also a coauthor of the paper, maybe you can announce the project with the arXiv publication there ;-). Hopefully we can also get some good feedback to implement in the paper while it is being reviewed.
