Hi,

We did not get a response from you, so we deleted your project from the pending queue.

If you would still like to have your project hosted at Savannah, please register it again.

The re-registration URL found in our acknowledgment of your earlier registration will direct you to the proper location where you can re-register your project.

Regards.

Hi,

I am waiting for an answer from you.

If within one week I still do not get a reply, I will remove your project. You will still be able to register it again once you have the time to deal with the registration issues.

Are you still willing to host your project at Savannah? If not, please tell us - we don't bite, and it will make us gain time.

Regards.

Hi,

In order to release your project properly and unambiguously under the LGPL, please place copyright notices and permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of every copyrightable file, usually any file more than 10 lines long.

If some of your files cannot carry such notices (e.g. binary files), then you can add a README file in the same directory containing the copyright and license notices. Check http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Copyright-Notices.html for further information.

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl.html#SEC4 and http://savannah.gnu.org/p/hello .

Currently, none of your files contain copyright notices, or permission to copy statements. You also need to add README files for your PNG files, and any other files which cannot carry license notices.

If you are willing to make the changes mentioned above, please provide us with an URL to an updated tarball of your project.  Upon review, we will reconsider your project for inclusion in Savannah.

To help us better keep track of your registration, please use the tracker's web interface following the link below. Do not reply directly, the registration process is not driven by e-mail, and we will not receive such replies.

Regards.

Hi,

Thanks for your comment.

I wish this project development will happen primary on Savannah.

About cmap-adobe-gb1, the package cmap-adobe-gb1 is not need for my software to function. It recommended by the external program "poppler-utils".
This external program poppler-utils  contains a /usr/bin/pdftotext (PDF to text converter). My software execute the external program  "/usr/bin/pdftotext" to filter PDF files.
When pdftotext filters some Chinese PDF files (no all Chinese PDF  files), pdftotext may use cmap-adobe-gb1 to  converting a certain
 charset/encoding-specific charcode to CID code.

Now,it moved the cmap-adobe-gb1 to Recommends from Depends, so it may install on a wholly free system.

Included a copy of the plain text version of the GNU LGPL into a file named "COPYING". And appended "# License: GNU LGPL" to each file.

Removed GIF image files, and replace them
with PNG image files.

This is an URL to an updated tarball http://ftp.ubuntu.org.cn/python/pycds/pycds-0.1.1-5.tgz

Regards.

Hi,

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

Savannah is a central point for development, distribution and
maintenance of GNU Software.

There is a companion site savannah.nongnu.org where we also host Free
Software projects that are not part of the GNU Project, but run on
free platforms.

However, we do not allow to host your project on Savannah and
SourceForge at the same time, if Savannah is just a project mirror.
Your project development should happen primary on Savannah.

How do you plan to use your Savannah account?

Additionally, both xpdf-chinese-simplified and cmap-adobe-gb1 are not
free (they require CMap files released under a non-free license)
. Requiring these for your software to function means that your
program cannot be run on a wholly free system, and thus cannot be
hosted on Savannah for that reason.

Please provide us with more information on this.

Also, please remove GIF image files from your project and replace them
with an other format (such as PNG or JPEG).

Because of the patents (Unisys and IBM) covering the LZW compression
algorithm which are used when making GIF files, it's impossible to
have free software to generate proper GIFs.  These patents also apply
to the compress program.

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/gif.html.

Finally, in order to release your project properly and unambiguously
under the LGPL, please place copyright notices and permission-to-copy
statements at the beginning of every copyrightable file, usually any
file more than 10 lines long.

In addition, if you haven't already, please include a copy of the
plain text version of the GNU LGPL, available from
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl.txt, into a file named "COPYING".

If some of your files cannot carry such notices (e.g. binary files),
then you can add a README file in the same directory containing the
copyright and license notices. Check
http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Copyright-Notices.html for
further information.

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl.html#SEC4.

If you are willing to make the changes mentioned above, please provide
us with an URL to an updated tarball of your project.  Upon review, we
will reconsider your project for inclusion in Savannah. Please
remember to address all the points.

To help us better keep track of your registration, please use the
tracker's web interface following the link below. Do not reply
directly, the registration process is not driven by e-mail, and we
will not receive such replies.

Regards.
